Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil Salad Dressing Recipe

Olive oil is one of the healthiest fats around. It has been shown to lower cholesterol levels, reduce inflammation, and help prevent cancer. Balsamic vinegar is a natural preservative that adds flavor to foods. The combination of both makes for a delicious dressing that is low in calories and high in nutrients.

Olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette are easy ways to dress a salad. It also tastes great on pasta, vegetables, and even pizza!


Combine vinegar with EVOO olive oil

The combination of the two ingredients creates a delicious taste that is both sweet and savory. To create this simple dressing, combine 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and 3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar. 

Season with salt and pepper.

Add salt and pepper to taste. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed

Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 week.

This simple salad dressing will add flavor to any salad.  It has a sweet flavor with a hint of tanginess from the vinegar.  It also makes a wonderful marinade for chicken or fish.
