Beef Fajita Tacos

Ingredients: 

  • 1 Skirt Steak
  • 2 pkgs Casa Fiesta Fajita seasoning
  • 1 15.5 oz can Casa Fiesta refried beans
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 7 oz can Casa Fiesta chipotle peppers in Adobo sauce
  • 1 pkg8-Inch Soft Flour Tortillas
  • 1 8 oz jar Casa Fiesta salsa
  • 1 8 oz pkg lettuce
  • 2 ded tomatoes, diced
  • 1 16 oz container Sour Cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Mexene chili powder
  •  

    Directions: 

    • In a gallon size storage bag, combine 2 Casa Fiesta Fajita with 8 oz water, beer or wine, and skirt steak.
    • Marinate for 2 hours.
    • In a saucepan, add refried beans, chicken broth, cumin, chili powder, and adobo sauce from the chipotle peppers. Heat to a simmer.
    • After marinating, grill the skirt steak until the internal temperature reaches 165 °F.
    • Thinly slice or cube the skirt steak and set aside.
    • Warm tortillas on grill or in oven and assemble tacos by spreading refried beans on the inside of the tortillas, adding steak, salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and cheese, if desired.
