Salad is an excellent way to start your day, and this recipe for a simple green salad will give you plenty of nutrients.
Start by washing your vegetables.
Wash your lettuce thoroughly before cutting it into bite-size pieces. This will remove any dirt or bugs hiding on the leaves. Wash and cut/tear all vegetables and then place in a large bowl.
You can also add sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, onions, olives, feta cheese, crumbled goat cheese, or any other favorite ingredients.
Add your favorite dressing
Now add your favorite dressing or create a mixture of balsamic vinegar (Texas Balsamic Vinegar Sampler) black pepper, dried herbs and sea salt.
Drizzle with EVOO.
